What decides the aerogel price you pay: thickness (10 mm is the industry standard for hot piping; 5 mm for HVAC and building retrofits; 20 mm for high-temperature or cryogenic lines), facing (plain, aluminium-foil or glass-cloth laminated), quantity (full rolls and pallet lots are cheaper per square foot than cut pieces), grade (standard 650 °C silica aerogel versus high-temperature or cryogenic grades) and delivery location. Ask us for a landed price to your site, not just an ex-works rate, so you can compare like for like.

Quick budget check: one 10 mm roll of 37.5 m² (≈ 403 sq ft) costs about ₹50,400 (≈ $565) at ₹125/sq ft. Insulating 100 running metres of 4-inch (114 mm) pipe with a single 10 mm layer needs roughly 48 m² of blanket, so the material budget is around ₹65,000 (≈ $730) before GST and freight.

Aerogel Insulation Blankets (3, 5, 6, 10 mm)

Flexible silica aerogel on a glass-fibre or PET needle-felt carrier. The workhorse of industrial insulation: wraps pipes, valves, flanges, vessels and ducts, cuts with a knife, and needs no special tools. Thermal conductivity 0.018–0.020 W/m·K at 25 °C, rising only to about 0.030 W/m·K at 300 °C. Supplied in 1.5 m wide rolls.

Aerogel Insulation Rolls for Pipelines

Full-length rolls for steam, hot-oil, thermal-oil and process lines in refineries, petrochemical plants, power stations, textile and food plants. A 10 mm aerogel layer replaces 40–50 mm of rockwool, which means smaller cladding diameters, lighter supports and far less space on pipe racks.

Foil-Faced and Cloth-Faced Aerogel Blankets

Aluminium-foil facing gives a vapour barrier and a clean finish for chilled-water, HVAC and cold-chain lines; glass-cloth facing adds abrasion resistance for exposed or high-traffic areas. Both are supplied on the same 10 mm blanket at a small premium.

Aerogel Panels and Boards

Rigid aerogel composite boards for building envelopes, cold rooms, container and prefab walls, where a few millimetres of insulation must deliver a high R-value without eating into floor area. Sizes 600 × 1,200 mm, thicknesses 10–25 mm.

Cut-to-Size Pads for EV Batteries and Electronics

Die-cut aerogel pads and strips (1–6 mm) for thermal-runaway barriers between battery cells, battery enclosure linings and firewall insulation. Available plain or with single- or double-sided adhesive for OEM assembly lines.
